North Carolinian.
He graduated from the E.C.U school of Art and has studied
extensively throughout Europe. His adventurous travels have
taken him to over 40 countries. These experiences have greatly influenced his artwork.
Bob's passion for teaching led him to a 30 year career in Wake county public schools. He was Sanderson High Schools teacher of the year, as well as, North Carolina Art Education Association's Secondary Art Educator of the year.
Bob has exhibited nationally and internationally and is in over 30 corporate collections.His major awards include the following:
1. Seven time winner best Artist in the triangle in Spectator magazine, the Independent, Metro Magazine, and The Downtowner magazine
2. North Carolina Art Education Association's secondary Art Educator of the year 1990
3. Raleigh Medal of the Arts 1992
4. E.C.U outstanding Alumni of the year 2012
5. Inducted into the Raleigh Hall of fame 2015
6. Inducted into the Wake County Public school system Hall of Fame 2016
